Install from the zip (manual)

Download the latest package (v4.0.0) from this site and load it into Chrome yourself, without the Web Store.

The Chrome Web Store is the normal way to install. If you want the newest build before the store review finishes, or the store is not available to you, you can load the same package by hand. It is the exact zip we upload to the store.

Download use1click v4.0.0 (.zip, ~260 KB)→

  1. Download and unzip. Save the zip, then extract it to a folder you will keep, for example ~/use1click. Chrome loads the extension from that folder, so do not delete it afterwards.
  2. Open the extensions page. Type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter.
  3. Turn on Developer mode. The switch is in the top-right corner of that page.
  4. Load unpacked. Click Load unpacked and choose the folder you extracted (the one that contains manifest.json). use1click appears in the list.
  5. Pin it and set up. Click the puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin use1click. The welcome page opens; accept the disclosures and create or import your wallet exactly as in Install and set up.

Updating a manual install

Manual installs do not update themselves. When a new version is posted here, download the new zip, extract it over the same folder, then open chrome://extensions and click the reload icon on the use1click card. Your wallet, settings and positions stay, because they live in Chrome's extension storage, not in the folder.

Good to know

  • Chrome may show a “Disable developer mode extensions” bar on startup. Dismiss it; the extension keeps working.
  • A manually loaded copy has a different extension ID than the store copy. If you later install from the store, remove the manual one first so you do not run two.
  • Only download from use1click.trade. We never send the zip over DMs or email, and we never ask for your key.
  • Works in Chrome, Brave, Edge, Arc and other Chromium browsers. Not on mobile.
Back up your private key from Wallet settings before you fund a manual install, just as with the store version. Removing the extension removes the encrypted key with it.
