Privacy Policy
use1click is a Chrome extension that shows live Robinhood Chain data for tickers and contract addresses on X (x.com) and lets you trade or launch tokens from your own wallet. use1click has no servers, no accounts and no analytics. Everything the extension stores stays in your browser. This page explains exactly what it reads, keeps and sends.
1. The short version
- We do not collect, receive or sell any personal data. There is no use1click backend to send it to.
- Data the extension needs (settings, positions, your connected wallet address, an optional encrypted turbo wallet) is stored locally with Chrome's extension storage and never leaves your device except as described in section 4.
- The extension talks directly from your browser to public blockchain and market-data services to do its job. Those services see your IP address and, when you trade or check balances, your wallet address.
- You can delete everything by removing the extension.
2. What the extension reads on x.com
The content script runs only on x.com and twitter.com. It scans the visible page for cashtags (such as $NVDA or $CAT), contract addresses, tweet URLs and author handles so it can show a panel when you hover one. This scanning happens entirely inside your browser.Tweet text, handles and your browsing on X are not transmitted anywhere by use1click. When you open the Launch tab in the popup, the extension reads the title and preview image of the page you are on, once, to prefill the launch form. You can edit or clear those fields before launching.
3. What is stored locally
Stored with chrome.storage.local on your device, never synced to use1click:
- Settings you enter: slippage, buy presets, an optional Alchemy API key, an optional Pinata JWT, an optional LI.FI integrator string, vault address and feature toggles.
- Wallet address of the wallet you last connected, so the panel can show balances and positions.
- Positions and fills recorded when you buy or sell through use1click (token, amount, price, transaction hash) and the take-profit / stop-loss / graduation rules you set on them.
- Turbo wallet (optional). If you create one, its private key is encrypted with a key derived from your password (PBKDF2) using AES-GCM and stored locally. The decrypted key exists only in memory while the wallet is unlocked and is cleared when you lock it, close Chrome or the extension's service worker stops. use1click cannot recover this password or key.
- Caches of public on-chain data (recent launches, token metadata, logos) to make the panel fast.
4. What is sent to third parties, and why
use1click makes requests directly from your browser to these services. Each sees your IP address. None of them is operated by use1click; their own privacy policies apply.
| Service | Sent | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Robinhood Chain RPC (rpc.mainnet.chain.robinhood.com), or Alchemy if you set a key | Contract reads, your wallet address for balances, signed transactions when you trade or launch | Reading the chain and broadcasting your transactions |
| Dexscreener, GeckoTerminal | Token or pair addresses | Prices, market cap, volume, charts, logos |
| LI.FI (li.quest) | Token addresses, amounts and your wallet address | Swap routes and quotes for graduated tokens and tokenized stocks |
| Pinata (only if you enable pinning with your own JWT) | The logo image you chose for a launch | Pinning launch logos to IPFS |
| IPFS gateways (ipfs.io, gateway.pinata.cloud, dweb.link, w3s.link) | Content identifiers | Loading token logos |
| pbs.twimg.com | Image URL from the tweet you are launching from | Previewing that image in the launch form |
Transactions you sign are public on Robinhood Chain by nature. Your wallet (MetaMask, Rabby or another EIP-6963 wallet) handles signing under its own privacy policy; use1click never sees your main wallet's private key or seed phrase.
5. What use1click never does
- No analytics, telemetry, crash reporting or usage tracking of any kind.
- No cookies and no fingerprinting.
- No selling, renting or sharing of data with anyone.
- No reading of other websites. The content script is limited to x.com and twitter.com, and the popup reads the active tab only when you open the Launch tab.
- No remote code. All code ships inside the extension package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store.
6. Permissions explained
- storage: keep your settings, positions and encrypted turbo wallet on your device.
- activeTab, scripting: read the current page's title and image once when you open the Launch tab, to prefill the form.
- alarms: keep your take-profit / stop-loss rules and the launch index running while Chrome is open.
- notifications: alert you when a rule triggers or a token you hold graduates.
- Host permissions: the services listed in section 4, so the extension can fetch from them without being blocked by browser cross-origin rules.
7. Retention and deletion
Local data stays until you delete it. Clearing is immediate: remove the extension from chrome://extensions, or use the reset options in the popup's Settings tab. Deleting the turbo wallet without first withdrawing or exporting its key permanently loses access to any funds in it.
8. Children
use1click is not directed at children and is not intended for anyone under the age required to use trading services in their jurisdiction.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published at this URL with a new date, and material changes are noted in the extension's release notes on the Chrome Web Store.
10. Contact
Questions about privacy: use the support contact on the use1click listing in the Chrome Web Store.
